Belmond Reid's Palace Palace opened it's doors in 1891 by a Scots man Mr William Reid. From the very beginning, the Belmond Reid's Palace became a milestone within the international luxury travel industry, and an appealing destination for the most savvy travelers. Noble families and famous guests started visiting Belmond Reid's Palace since its doors opened, and today after more than 120 years, this unique hotel welcomes and pampers the most discerned travelers. This living piece of history sprawls over 10 acres of sub-tropical gardens with more than 500 hundred different types of rare plants and flowers. Afternoon Tea is an iconic event at Belmond Reid's Palace dating back to when the hotel first opened. Welcoming around 90 guests per day, majority of which are customers who don't stay at the Hotel. Villa Cipriani is Belmond Reid's informal Italian restaurant, perched on a cliff top, here Belmond Reid's home made pasta can be savored, whilst the moon draws her lines over Ocean. 3 pools, 2 of which heated plus 1 tidal pool, 2 tennis courts, snooker, dancing classes and much more, are some of the leisure proposal for restless (clients) guests. The Spa was opened in 2006. 5 treatment rooms, all with balconies overlooking the ocean, are there to pamper Belmond Reid's clients. Younger guests are more than welcome at Belmond Reid's. Upon arrival, in their rooms the little slippers and robe will make them feel just like Mummy and Daddy. They have their own private area with a pool and a wendy house, made to look like a traditional house from the island.
